The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and domain expertise.

This role is ideal for someone who:

  • Thinks strategically about product direction and market opportunity
  • Is equally comfortable documenting details (writing requirements, specs, workflows)
  • Leverages AI tools to enhance product thinking, documentation quality, and speed
  • Brings experience from the fintech ecosystem and/or deep expertise in retirement plans, income strategies, and annuities
  • Applies a modern, customer-centric approach to product development, including strong instincts for feature prioritization and user value
  • Enjoys translating complex financial concepts into scalable software solutions

You will own product initiatives end-to-end, from concept through delivery and client implementation, while working closely with engineering, analytics, and enterprise clients.

What You’ll Do
Execution & Product Development
  • Create high-quality product documentation (FRDs, user stories, workflows, diagrams, presentations), using tools, including AI, to improve clarity, completeness, and speed
  • Work closely with engineering teams (onshore/offshore) to deliver scalable, API-driven solutions
  • Own product lifecycle from ideation through launch and iteration
  • Ensure alignment between technical delivery and business outcomes
  • Proactively identify gaps, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement in product requirements
Product Strategy & Ownership
  • Help define and drive product strategy for retirement income and planning solutions
  • Translate business goals and enterprise client needs into clear product direction and prioritized roadmaps
  • Identify opportunities to expand capabilities across retirement products, tax strategies, and income delivery
Client & Implementation Leadership
  • Partner with enterprise prospects and clients to implement and customize solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert on retirement planning for internal teams and clients
  • Bridge the gap between client needs, financial concepts, and product capabilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with engineering, QA, analytics, and sales teams
  • Communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support go-to-market efforts, product releases and testing
Market & Domain Expertise
  • Stay current on retirement regulations, tax laws, and industry trends
  • Conduct competitive analysis and incorporate insights into product evolution
What We’re Looking For

This is a high-impact, senior role requiring both depth and versatility.

Required Experience
  • 7–10 years in product management within wealth management, broker/dealer, or financial services
  • Strong expertise in retirement plans, retirement income strategies, and financial planning concepts
  • Proven experience delivering B2B software products, ideally with API integrations
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and managing client relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work with distributed/offshore engineering and QA teams
Core Capabilities
  • Strong writing skills—able to produce clear, structured product documentation
  • Strategic thinker + hands-on executor (comfortable moving between vision and detailed specs)
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into intuitive product experiences
  • AI-native mindset: comfortable using AI to draft and refine specs, identify gaps and edge cases, accelerate research, and continuously improve personal workflows
  • Highly self-directed and proactive, with the judgment to ask thoughtful questions and seek clarity when needed
  • Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills

In August 2024, our U.S.-based team gathered in Estes Park, Colorado, for a company retreat. We stayed at the historic Stanley Hotel, sharing meals, stories, laughs, a ghost tour, and a ride up an aerial tram.
